An Intelligent Controller Based on LAMDA for Speed Control of a Three-Phase Inductor Motor

Three-phase induction motors are widely used in the industrial field due to their low cost and robustness; therefore, it is essential continuously develop new proposals that improve behavior response applications where speed control required. This paper proposes development of an intelligent controller programmed a PLC interconnected with three-phase motor through VFD. The novel bases its operation on LAMDA algorithm, which acts as decision-making system based state error respect reference derivative, obtaining closed-loop controller. In addition, VFD receives commands from operate at constant voltage-frequency ratio flux remains constant. proposed has been validated two study cases: i) changes ii) rejection disturbances. results obtained promising show good performance when compared qualitatively quantitatively most commonly systems, such PID, controllers similar characteristics, fuzzy, Mamdani Takagi-Sugeno inference.
